Man in his 20s drowns after using rope swing at Green River

ENUNMCLAW, WA – A young man in his 20s died after he swung from a rope into the Green River and hit his head on rocks, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.

According to KOMO News, the unidentified man died at the scene Tuesday despite witnesses’ resuscitation efforts. The fatal accident occurred at Green River on the 29500 block of SE Green River Gorge Road.

This is the 16th drowning in King County since mid-May, according to KOMO.
