Motorcyclist T-bones garbage truck, sustains critical injuries
Request Free ConsultationSEATTLE, WA – A motorcyclist was critically injured after colliding with the side of a garbage truck in the Rainier Valley neighborhood on Thursday morning, according to a significant incident report by the Seattle Police Department.
The crash happened at the intersection of Rainier Ave. S and S Othello Street at about 9:15 a.m. A Seattle Parks garbage truck was headed west on Othello when the operator of a motorcycle failed to stop at a traffic light.
The motorcyclist, an adult male, T-boned the truck, and then was taken to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.
The truck driver was not reported as injured.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of the two drivers.
