One killed in two-car crash on SR-7 in Pierce County
Request Free ConsultationPIERCE COUNTY, WA — One person died late Tuesday night in a two-car crash on state Route 7 near Tacoma, according to Trooper Robert Reyer with Washington State Patrol.

The accident happened in the southbound lanes of SR-7 at milepost 45 near Fire Road East and was first reported by WSP at 10:19 p.m.
WSP troopers, crews with Washington State Department of Transportation, and emergency medics responded to the scene.
The driver of one of the vehicles involved was transported to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
No other injuries have been reported.
Motorists were told to expect delays as authorities shut down southbound lanes for an investigation.
By 1:39 a.m., all previously blocked lanes were reopened.
