Pedestrian struck and killed on SR 167 in Renton

RENTON, WA — A pedestrian was struck and killed early Tuesday morning in a serious crash along state Route 167 in Renton, according to KOMO News.

Troopers and medics responded to the scene along SR-167 northbound north of South 180th Street at around 6:00 a.m.

The pedestrian, whose identity remains undisclosed, was found dead at the site of the crash.

According to Trooper Rick Johnson, the pedestrian was struck by a car while in the roadway.

No impairment on the part of the driver is suspected.
