Semi-truck blocks Tacoma Narrows Bridge, causing delays

TACOMA, Wa — A semi-truck previously blocking SR 16 westbound along the Tacoma Narrows Bridge on Wednesday evening has now been cleared, opening the road again, according to Trooper Robert Reyer with the Washington State Patrol.

The incident caused delays as Washington State troopers and authorities with the Washington State Department of Transportation at Tacoma worked to respond and have the semi towed.
