Serious injuries reported in crash on SR-509 and Cloverdale St

SEATTLE, WA – At least one person was seriously injured in a collision on State Route 509 in the South Park area on Friday night, according to Trooper Rick Johnson with the Washington State Patrol.

Serious injury collision on SB SR 509 just south of Cloverdale. The two left lanes are currently blocked. Please avoid the area if you can.

The crash happened on southbound SR-509, south of S Cloverdale Street, at about 7:50 p.m.

At least one person was severely injured in the crash.

The two left lanes of the highway were blocked after the accident. Drivers were asked to avoid the area if possible.
