SR 26 shut down while officials investigate semi, car fatality collision

The roadway is nearly open. Tows and DOT are working currently to clear the road. The crash is a one car vs semi fatality collision. Updates to follow.

WSP Trooper John Bryant reported the accident via Twitter at 6:33 p.m. on Monday. It is not clear how the accident happened, but it appears that one person in the car died at the scene. The road reopened after Troopers closed their investigation around 11 p.m. Monday.
