Tesla on autopilot strikes deputy’s patrol car in Snohomish County

SNOHOMISH CO., WA — A Tesla on auto-pilot crashed into a police vehicle that was responding to a previous collision in the West Lake Stevens are on Saturday.

According to Q13 Fox, a Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputy was parked on the shoulder of 103rd Avenue NE with the emergency lights on when the Tesla struck the patrol car.

No injuries were reported, but the deputy’s vehicle sustained significant damage.
