Two lanes of I-5 South shut down in Tukwila after rollover semi-truck crash with injuries

SEATTLE, WA – A rollover semi-truck collision resulting in at least one minor injury was reported on Interstate 5 South in Tukwila on Thursday morning.

According to a tweet from Trooper Rick Johnson, the Washington State Patrol District 2 PIO, the accident occurred around 7:49 a.m. at the State Route 599 interchange.

The left two southbound lanes were temporarily shut down while crews worked to clear the scene. No updates on when the roadway was reopened were provided.
