Two people seriously injured in multi-vehicle crash in Bellevue

BELLEVUE, WA – Two people were seriously hurt during a suspected DUI crash in Bellevue yesterday, according to the Bellevue Police Department and KOMO News.


The crash occurred on Coal Creek Parkway, near Forest Drive and SE 60th Street, at about 11:30 a.m., when three sedans collided.

One of the drivers is thought to have been under the influence.

Two people were pinned within the wreckage and had to be rescued by emergency crews. They were then taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The identities of the victims are not available at this time.

Authorities closed Coal Creek Parkway near the scene as they worked the crash. By 3:26 p.m., the roadway was reopened.
