Update: Woman fatally struck by car while running across I-5 near Boeing Field
Request Free ConsultationSEATTLE, WA — A 53-year-old woman was fatally hit by a car Sunday night in south Seattle, reports FOX 13 Seattle.
Washington State Patrol said the events unfolded on a stretch of I-5 southbound near Boeing Access Road.
The woman had been a passenger in a car and was said to have been fighting with the driver. After the driver stopped the car on the highway’s left shoulder, the woman left the vehicle. She then darted across the interstate and was hit by a passing car.
Authorities said the woman died at the scene.
An investigation was still in progress as of Monday afternoon.
