Vehicle catches fire from downed lines in Kenmore

KENMORE, WA – Firefighters extinguished a car fire after a downed power line fell on an unoccupied vehicle in Kenmore over the weekend.

According to local news, the vehicle went up in the flames in the 8400 block of Northeast 169th Street and was fully engulfed before firefighters could extinguish the flames.

Thankfully, the vehicle was unoccupied and no one was injured.

It is unclear what caused the live wires to come down.
