Woman flees police, bites officer, faces DUI charges
Request Free ConsultationPASCO, WA – A woman in Pasco, Washington, will be charged with felony assault of an officer, failure to stop, and driving under the influence after an incident at a Dairy Queen Tuesday night.
According to YakTri News, Pasco police received a call of a possibly intoxicated driver attempting to cut the drive-thru line at the Dairy Queen on Burden Boulevard around 9:30 p.m.
34-year-old driver Bethany Ann Bechtol failed to stop when officers attempted to stop her white Mazda. She eventually pulled over a few blocks away in a residential neighborhood.
While officers were attempting to secure handcuffs on Bechtol’s wrists, she bit an officer in the arm.
Bechtol is currently in Franklin County Jail.
